Birds East is located just three blocks east of I-35, an easy exit off the highway from north or south. Coming from the downtown (west) side of I-35, head east on Fifth Street -- then U-Turn under the highway to get to the access road on other side. Go up to the light and turn right on Sixth Street. We're on the right (south) side, just past Shangri-La and before Rio Rita. Directly across the street from Birds East is Mrs. B's, the only bar we know to be packed by noon daily. |

From Mopac, take the 2222 or Anderson Lane exits, go east until you hit Burnet and turn accordingly (left if exiting 2222, right if exiting Anderson Lane). |
